Shawna McGrath, LMFT (she/her). I'm a depth psychotherapist, astrologer, and spiritual seeker. I'm passionate about exploring the mysteries of life, and how we can bring deeper meaning into our lives by exploring the unknown and the unconscious.

I'm an intuitive, empathic, and feeling type person. My work is informed by my understanding of the interconnectedness of all things (both the seen and unseen). I believe that psyche (soul) communicates with us through symbol and synchronicity - and that we can listen through symbolic languages like astrology, dreams, tarot, and omens.

My approach is relational, depth-oriented, and humanistic (holding space for you as a whole individual with an innate potential for growth and self-actualization). This way of working is informed by my studies as well as my own personal experiences in depth psychotherapy and cross-cultural metaphysical spiritual traditions including astrology, tarot, nature based magic, mysticism, alchemy, and shamanism.

In my astrological framework, I draw from a blend of contemporary and ancient astrology traditions (Hellenistic, Traditional, Psychological, Archetypal Astrology, and Jyotish). I typically work with the tropical zodiac and the Whole Sign House system - but I'm happy to work within the house system and astrological framework that resonates with you.

Since 2014 I have worked with individuals seeking more connection, healing, and fulfillment in this life. Clients have described my work as empathetic, intuitive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I am constantly in awe of how depth psychotherapy and therapeutic astrology can help us make sense of life's challenges and empower a reconnection with Self. I find this work to be deeply meaningful.

I received my master's degree in Counseling Psychology & Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have studied astrology with Jessica DiRuzza (Archetypal & Psychological Astrology), Demetra George (Traditional, Hellenistic, & Psychological Astrology) and Ronnie Gale Dreyer (Jyotish / Vedic Astrology). I studied the intuitive arts with Kari Samuels. I completed my undergraduate degree at Arizona State University where I studied psychology and cultural anthropology.​
