Eclipses, Saturn-Neptune, & Psycho-Spiritual Experiences

I find that eclipses tend to invoke great change with major endings and beginnings, uncertainty, and feelings of excitement as well as anxiety. I share some of my thoughts in the below podcast episode on eclipses and psychological complexes.

This eclipse season also happens to coincide with Saturn conjunct Neptune in the sky. A transit that happens about every 36 years, and lasts for about 3 years at a time. While this particular Saturn-Neptune conjunction is exact in February 2026, it began in March 2024 and will last through May 2027. This transit lasting several years is because both Saturn and Neptune move very slowly. And, when we look at astrology transits from an archetypal and depth psychological perspective, we are seeing the transit over a period of time based on a 10-15 degree orb of influence. In this way, we can see the broader storyline of what's happening. It's like watching the entire movie rather than just one peak scene.

Saturn-Neptune transits represent periods of time when we remember that the physical and metaphysical are interconnected, we confront illusion, explore the meaning of life, and may have transcendent experiences in everyday life. This transit also correlates to experiences of existential fear, hopelessness, grief, and melancholy. At its most supportive, Saturn-Neptune helps us process these larger-than-life feelings so that we can have a deeper and more meaningful human life. Saturn-Neptune is a beautiful time for cultivating a spiritual practice that's purposeful, practical, and supports you through material world matters. When we can create a space in our lives for both the physical as well as the metaphysical, we are holding space for Saturn-Neptune.

I would absolutely love for you to join me for my course: Tarot as a Spiritual Practice. My partner, Kenneth Miller, co-teach this special course to bring you everything that we wish we knew when we first started studying the tarot, spiritual practices, and the metaphysical arts.

We're excited to share with you what we have found deeply meaningful in our own lives to cultivate a sacred practice for everyday life, even in the most tumultuous of times.
